An accomplished sales executive with over 30 years in transportation, Mr. Wilt provides Modern with instant additional access to nationwide shippers to further accelerate their continued growth in the specialty chemical and petro chemical sector. “We’re delighted Brian has joined the Modern team”, shares Patrick Cozzens, President of Modern. “He’s not only the consummate marketer in chemical transportation, but also brings years of successful experience in bulk, intermodal, truckload, LTL, and logistics management.” Mr. Wilt also enjoys a consistent record of effective team building, sales execution, customer service, and strategic business initiatives that provide safe solutions to customer needs.

A graduate of the University of Toledo, Mr. Wilt began his transportation career with Carolina Freight Carriers, later spending 14 years at Norfolk Southern’s Triple Crown Service intermodal subsidiary. Over the past twelve years, he has served in executive leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Quality Carriers and, most recently, Schneider Bulk.

At Modern, Mr. Wilt will report directly to Modern’s VP Sales, Randy Sheeler. “Brian and I worked for the same carrier about ten years ago”, reports Sheeler. “When the time came to seek additional strength and professionalism for our sales team, Brian was at the top of a very short list.” Mr. Wilt currently resides in the greater Atlanta area, a strategic location that will allow him to maintain and
